Formalities to arrive in Sint-Maarten
Sint Maarten SXM Travel and Entry Requirements:
For all travelers to Sint Maarten SXM Juliana airport, the electronic entry request form is mandatory before boarding.
The request must be made no earlier than 72 hours before departure and no later than 12 hours before departure (as a precaution). Even if in general the requests are treated rather quickly.
Once your request has been processed and accepted, you will receive by email your authorization to enter Sint Maarten that you will have to present when checking in your luggage.

Please note that one application per person must be made even if you are traveling together, including children and babies.
If you are not a resident of Sint Maarten or French resident in France
You have to subscribe to a covid insurance set up by the government of Sint Maarten. The purchase of this insurance is integrated to the ehas form according to your information.
As of April 1, 2022, unvaccinated persons can present a negative antigenic test result within 24 hours.
Fully vaccinated persons with three doses do not need to present a negative test before boarding.
The authorized vaccines are: pfizer (comirnaty) , moderna (spikevax) , astrazeneca (vaxzevria) , johnson & johnson/ janssen , astrazenca (covishield) , sinopharm and zinovac / coronavac.
Finally, for those not fully vaccinated, a pcr test less than 48 hours old or an antigen test less than 24 hours old is required.
Children 5 to 10 years of age may optionally be tested for covid by oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal swab.
Children under 5 years of age are not required to be tested for covid.
Regarding general conditions of entry to Sint Maarten:
Anyone traveling to Sint Maarten must have a passport valid for the duration of the stay as well as an entry visa if the passport is from a country requiring a visa.
Those who do not require a visa are American, Canadian and European citizens, legal residents and residents of countries not requiring a visa.
All these categories can stay up to a maximum of 90 days on a short stay basis.
A return ticket within 90 days must be presented to the immigration authorities.

Pets may be temporarily admitted to the island provided they present a medical certificate less than 10 days old, as well as a vaccination booklet including a rabies vaccination administered less than 30 days prior to the stay.
