About

The president has just made the announcement: tomorrow’s sunrise will be the last. Rather than panic, three friends — Charlie, Bastien and Guillaume — pack a picnic and head for the beach. Meanwhile, between locust storms, ticket inspectors keep inspecting and police keep patrolling, as if not even the apocalypse could knock society off its routine.

Fin, fin et fin (“The End, the End and the End”), written by Lancelot Cherer, plays doomsday backwards: no disaster-movie spectacle, just one last afternoon among friends, full of barely contained panic, wobbly poetry and a sharp jab at authority. French critics called it the end of the world “Monty Python style.” It runs 1 hour 20 minutes, in French, and is suitable from age 10.

A hit at the Avignon festival, the play was honored at the 2026 Molière Awards for best comedy and best newcomer (Lancelot Cherer), and has been running at Théâtre Lepic in Paris since September.

Two performances at Théâtre La Chapelle: Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are €35 or €30 depending on the rate, plus a €0.50 online booking fee per ticket. The theater box office opens every evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
