Mullet Bay Beach
Sint Maarten's postcard-perfect beach
Mullet Bay Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the Dutch side of the island. Easily accessible from the French side, it is renowned for its pristine white sand and remarkably clear turquoise waters. It's a top destination for a relaxing day by the sea.
The beach stretches along a long crescent-shaped bay lined with clear, inviting waters. The rocky sides of the bay attract snorkelers: a mask and snorkel are all you need to spot colorful marine life just a few strokes from the shore. On some days, the waves also offer great conditions for bodyboarding or light surfing.
The vibe is both lively and laid-back. You'll find beach bars and restaurants on site such as Kalatua, Rosie's and Da Waterhole, perfect for sipping a cocktail facing the sea or enjoying a beachside lunch with your feet in the sand. The shaded areas under the trees at the back of the beach also make it an ideal spot for a quiet family or friends gathering.
What immediately wins you over at Mullet Bay is its "real vacation beach" feel: plenty of space to settle in, swim, stroll along the shoreline and make the most of the day. The official Sint Maarten tourism site ranks it as one of the most awarded beaches on the Dutch side.
