Caribbean Multihull Challenge 2027 racing and rally in Sint Maarten

From 4 to 7 February 2027, Sint Maarten hosts the 9th Caribbean Multihull Challenge (CMC), a multihull race and rally organized by the Sint Maarten Yacht Club in Simpson Bay.

On the water: CSA and MOCRA classes, a Diam 24 one-design fleet, and beach cats including F18 and Hobie. Catamarans and trimarans share courses but can earn separate 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies based on entry numbers. The Line Honors award introduced in 2026 remains part of the prizegiving.

The CMC Rally runs in parallel for cruising crews: time trials, navigators' challenges, announced destinations toward Friar's Bay, Orient Bay, Baie Rouge and Mullet Bay, with evenings at the club. Friday late afternoon: a casual gathering on Kim Sha Beach, a short walk from SMYC.
