About
The Diam 24 one-design trimarans are back on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15, 2026 for the Grand Prix Grand Case, hosted by the Sint Maarten Yacht Club and Saint Martin Voile pour Tous.
Launched in November 2025, the regatta opens the class’s Caribbean season, the World Diam Tour Caribbean. At 7.25 meters with a crew of three, the Diam 24 is the boat used in France’s Tour de France à la Voile — quick, physical and tightly matched, so races are often won or lost at the start line and the marks.
The inaugural edition set the template: a start in Simpson Bay, a fast passage around the island to a finish in Grand Case Bay, a run of short races on a stadium-style course laid just off the beach, then a distance race back to Simpson Bay on Sunday. Eight crews took part, and Sweden’s Team Trinity 2 took the overall win.
With the course set right off the waterfront, Grand Case beach is a front-row seat for the starts and mark roundings. Crew registration is open through the Sint Maarten Yacht Club.
