Practical tips
- Buy your eSIM before departure to be connected as soon as you land.
- Download your Google Maps offline before the trip (GPS works without data).
- Use WhatsApp or FaceTime Audio for your calls. This avoids call charges.
- Note: an eSIM does not provide a local phone number. If you need to call local businesses, use a VoIP app.
- Network coverage may be weaker in mountainous areas (Pic Paradis, Loterie Farm). Plan ahead if you're hiking.
- If you're also visiting St. Barths or Anguilla, choose a regional Caribbean eSIM plan.
