Coco Beach is far more than a typical beach restaurant. Set directly on the sand of Orient Bay, one of Saint-Martin's most famous beaches, this venue combines a laid-back beach club atmosphere with gourmet cuisine crafted by chef Laurent Saudeau, a double Michelin star holder. After nearly 20 years at the helm of Manoir de la Boulaie in France and a stint at the Manapany in St. Barts, the chef has settled here to offer a menu that pairs French expertise with the vibrant flavors of the Caribbean.
The menu showcases seafood and local produce. Highlights include red tuna tacos, wood-fired grilled octopus, spice-crusted mahi-mahi, lobster brioche, and a hay-roasted pork rack casserole. Vegetarian options are equally appealing, with a standout curry-roasted cauliflower. The signature dessert, Le Rocher du Coco Beach, provides a memorable finish to every meal.
The setting is polished yet relaxed. Beach chairs, gazebos and lounge areas line the shore, while the covered restaurant seats up to 200 guests. A beach chair rental (EUR 35, towel and umbrella included) lets you enjoy the full day. On Friday evenings, the vibe shifts with Grill Night: tapas, grilled fish and meat, cocktails and live music from 6 PM onwards, a must for those who love a beachside evening out.
Winner of the 2023 Culinary Festival in the Beach Star category, Coco Beach stands as the benchmark for beachfront dining in Saint-Martin. Reservations are recommended via WhatsApp, with two lunch seatings at 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
