On Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, Amuseum Naturalis hosts the Migratory Bird Festival at The Old House on the hill above Coconut Grove in the French Quarter. Admission and all activities are free.
The program includes the launch of the bilingual coloring book and nature journal Wetlands Around Me (free copies while supplies last), a coloring station, a craft workshop (migratory bird-themed wood box with native tree seeds to plant), and BirdSleuth Caribbean games (Bird Bingo, Bird Habitat Scavenger hunt) in the gardens. You can also explore the museum exhibits and grounds.
