About
FITA's final 2026 event, the SXM Aquathlon powered by Sonesta, takes place Sunday, November 29 at 7:00 AM on Mullet Bay Beach.
The swim uses two 500 m triangles for a 1,000 m total. Out of the water, athletes start solo or tag a teammate for a 5K or 10K through Pointe Pirouette, Mullet Bay and Porto Cupecoy (the 10K is two laps).
Categories include adult teams, junior teams (under 18), individual men and women by age group, and juniors. Entry fee: $15 per person, breakfast included. Pick up race numbers and timing chips at Tri-Sport Simpson Bay on November 27-28 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Bring your own mug, spoon and bowl to cut down on plastics.
