Yellow Sub is one of those places where you can settle in at sunrise and not leave until well after dark. Located in the Residence de la Plage, at the entrance of the Orient Bay area, this bar-restaurant operates as a versatile spot that blends brasserie, steakhouse and nightlife venue. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, with a terrace offering sea views and the easygoing feel of a true beach-town hangout.

Mornings start with a gourmet breakfast served from 7:30am: pancakes, praline buns, salmon bagels, bacon burgers, yogurt granola bowls and other hearty options to fuel up before hitting the beach. At lunch and into the evening, the menu takes on a steakhouse character with generous plates, large tapas platters, charcuterie and cheese boards designed for sharing, plus hefty burgers and well-crafted starters. The food is straightforward, generous and satisfying.

The bar serves house cocktails and screens major sporting events, making it a proper sports bar by day. After dark, the mood shifts entirely: from Thursday through Saturday, Yellow Sub hosts local musicians for live sets spanning Latin, funk, pop-rock, soul and house music. It is one of the few places in Orient Bay where the party genuinely runs late.

The venue seats up to 75 diners indoors and can arrange banquets for groups of up to 100. High-speed Wi-Fi, parking, wheelchair accessibility and pet-friendly policies are all part of the package. The team speaks French, English, Spanish and Italian, making it a particularly welcoming address for international visitors.
