Perched on the heights of Sentry Hill, within the historic Rockland Estate, Rainforest Adventures is Sint Maarten's premier adventure park. The site offers a unique combination of thrilling rides, spectacular panoramic views and cultural discovery.
The star attraction, the Flying Dutchman, is officially the steepest zip line in the world. Seated in a secure harness, you plunge 1,066 feet in elevation over a 2,600-foot flight path, reaching speeds over 55 mph. Four parallel cables allow you to share this experience with your friends and family.
The ascent is made aboard the Soualiga Sky Explorer, a panoramic chairlift spanning 2,997 feet that carries you to one of the island's highest points. The 360┬░ view is breathtaking: turquoise waters and neighboring islands including Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla unfold before your eyes.
The park also features the Sentry Hill Zipline, a mountain ridge zip line, and the Schooner Ride, an inner tube descent down a mountain track. Don't miss the Emilio Wilson Museum, which tells the story of slavery and the estate, explaining why Sint Maarten is known as "The Friendly Island".
