Korner SXM is one of the warmest spots on Grand Case Beach. Located right at the start of the boulevard, just across from the bridge parking lot, the address is run by Kamilla and Karl, a passionate couple who wanted to recreate a welcoming "Maison" open to the sea. The result: a beach bar bistro that lands somewhere between a polished restaurant and a tropical hideaway, where you sit with your feet in the sand facing the sunset.

The kitchen is run by Kamilla, a self-taught talent. She blends French technique, Caribbean produce and Asian touches: local catch of the day, grilled spiny lobster, the famous Lobster Roll and its surprising lobster hot-dog, beef tartare, ceviches, homemade hummus, fresh salads, twisted spring rolls, thin tarts and beautiful pastries (berry tartlets, chocolate éclairs). At the bar, Karl puts together a list of carefully crafted signature cocktails, set against a jazz lounge and chill music backdrop.

The vibe shifts through the day: a relaxed lunch with a view over the boats at anchor, a sunset apéro in beach loungers piled with colorful cushions, and an intimate dinner under the string lights of the wooden terrace. The decor mixes vintage finds, woven pendant lamps, macramé and bohemian touches. Perfect for a barefoot lunch after the beach, a date night drink or a casual dinner with friends.

Practical tip for travelers: Korner SXM is open 7 days a week from 12 pm to 11 pm, continuous service, which is rare in Grand Case. Reservations recommended for the sunset slot and dinner in high season. Park along the boulevard or in the bridge parking lot right across the street.
