In Maho, minutes from Princess Juliana Airport, Sonesta Maho Beach Resort soft-opened Pelican's Nest Sky Deck on June 8, 2026: about 59,000 square feet of open-air rooftop built as an all-inclusive playground from morning into the night.
Access is limited to registered guests of Sonesta Maho Beach and Sonesta Ocean Point (plus authorized visitors). Listed activities are part of the all-inclusive package: no add-on fee for mini golf or climbing, subject to safety rules and operating hours.
What's already on the roof
- Birdie Bay Mini Golf: an 18-hole course with Maho views
- Three-story climbing wall paired with the Spider Tube spiral slide
- Rooftop running track with fitness stations
- Lawn games / shuffleboard and a plaza stage for live music, family game shows or movie nights
- Interactive sports simulator (listed as available from mid-July 2026)
A few pieces are still marked coming soon on the resort site: Birdie Bay Bar and the kids' play area with water slide. Attractions can close for weather, maintenance or capacity, and age or height limits apply on several modules.
More in 2027
Phase two is planned for 2027, including a zip line and a FlowRider surf simulator. For travelers booking Maho all-inclusive, the Sky Deck already reshapes a day on property: beach and planes in the morning, rooftop in the afternoon, stage at night, without leaving the resort.
